Motor vehicle crashes are a serious problem for everyone, but especially for teenagers, who are statistically two to three times more likely to be involved in a fatal crash than older and more experienced drivers. Statistics also reflect that male drivers have a higher percentage of car crashes than female drivers. And overall, young people in the United States are at greater risk of being injured or of dying in a motor vehicle crash than others from around the world.
